By: E&P Staff Inland Newspaper Machinery Corp., Lenexa, Kans., listed the following second-quarter sales activity.

The Newport (R.I.) Daily News bought a five-unit Goss Urbanite press that it plans to use this summer to reconfigure and expand its existing press.

In Lumberton, N.C., Inland will add units later this year at The Robesonian, where it also will provide services for existing units in a reconfiguration and upgrade.

Inland brokered three sales of four press lines: a 12-unit Goss Urbanite for Scripps Treasure Coast Publishing, Ft. Pierce, Fla., to D&N Printing Co., Boca Raton, Fla.; two nine-unit Goss Community SSC/DEV press lines for the Orlando Sentinel to Sun Coast Media Group, Venice, Fla.; and a six-unit Harris 845/800 for Scottsbluff (Neb.) Publishing to Toowoomba Newspapers, Queensland, Australia.

Inland also reached an exclusive agreement with Ottaway Newspapers, Campbell Hall, N.Y., to represent the Dow Jones community newspaper group in the sale of a 10-unit Goss SC/SSC at The Ashland (Ore.) Daily Tidings.
