By: E&P Staff Inland Newspaper Machinery Corp. of Lenexa, Kan., completed in 2004 and will complete in the first half of this year 11 installations consisting either of entirely or partially reconditioned/reconfigured presses for dailies and weeklies.
Installations and/or reconfigurations range from eight to 18 printing units and include Goss Community, DGM, and Goss Urbanite equipment.
Completed installations consist of a 10-unit Community reconfiguration in Bellevue, Neb.; a 10-unit Community in North Platte, Neb.; an eight-unit Urbanite in Scottsbluff, Neb.; nine-unit Community in Montrose, Colo.; a 12-unit Community reconfiguration in Princeton, Ill.; and a 10-unit Community reconfiguration in Smithfield, N.C.
Scheduled for completion are an 18-unit Community/DGM in Hibbing, Minn.; a nine-unit Community in Wasilla, Alaska; a 14-unit Community reconfiguration in Grass Valley, Calif.; a 14-unit Urbanite reconfiguration in Lufkin, Texas; and a 13-unit Urbanite reconfiguration in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
