Inland Posts Equipment Sales, Morrison & Head Property Tax Savings

Inland Newspaper Machinery completed the first quarter with the sale of a five-unit Goss Urbanite press from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as several transactions of second-hand mailroom equipment (including stackers, tyers and an inserter) from the Waco (Texas) Tribune-Herald to various newspapers.

Inland continues to partner with industrial property tax consultants Morrison & Head in property tax review and appeal services, specializing in newspapers. Recent property tax savings were achieved for major newspapers in Texas, Florida and Georgia -- for which the 2009 first-year savings realized ranged from $103,000 to $295,000, according to Inland.
