Inland Press Association Partnering with 360 Media Alliance in 2019 Audience Conferences

Inland Press Association is partnering with 360 Media Alliance to host two major conferences in 2019 devoted to audience development, marketing and loyalty strategies.

The first, the 2019 Audience & Loyalty Mega Summit Central, will be held Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28 in St. Louis. This will be the seventh such event, one of the largest audience, marketing and loyalty summits in the United States.

“Inland is committed to smart collaboration with other industry organizations and we feel joining John Newby and the 360 Media Alliance for this conference will benefit all our members,” said Inland Executive Director Tom Slaughter.  “Our members turn to us for real-world solutions to help them strengthen their operations, while sharing best practices for successful digital transformation. We think this conference does both.”

Founder John Newby said 360 Media Alliance is pleased and excited to partner with Inland.

"This is a day and age where the various trade organizations must find ways to synergize and collaborate in areas where it makes sense,” Newby said. “We are honored to be partnering with one of the largest and long-lasting organizations in the country."

A new industry-wide initiative will be introduced at the Audience & Loyalty Mega Summit Central, said Newby, a newspaper industry veteran who is now CEO and executive director of Main Street Muskogee, which promotes the revitalization of downtown Muskogee, Oklahoma.

“We are introducing the ‘Loyalty Platform’ initiative, a 'design-thinking’ collaboration of 20-plus media companies and business partners,” Newby said.

This industry-wide scaling “Loyalty Platform” can be rolled out on an affordable basis in all size markets, Newby said. Begun as a concept at a 360 Media Alliance brainstorming session at its September 2018 conference in Pittsburgh, the media companies intend to bring the concept to reality at the April meeting.

Among the confirmed presenters at the upcoming conference is Barry Kirk, vice president of loyalty marketing solutions for Maritx Loyalty Solutions.

Programming for the 2019 Audience & Loyalty Mega Summit Central will blend traditional elements of the industry with cutting-edge digital technology in the audience, marketing and loyalty spaces.

Business partners confirmed for the summit among the dozens expected include Newscycle Solutions, TCN Broadcasting, The Pisa Group, The Zinser Law Firm, VoicePort, and ICANON Newzware.

A second conference, the 2019 Audience & Loyalty Mega Summit East, will be held in the fall at a date and city not yet determined.
