Ionia 'Sentinel-Standard' Names New Editor

By: Lori Kilchermann has been named editor of the Sentinel-Standard of Ionia.

Kilchermann has worked in the newspaper industry for 15 years and most recently served as assistant managing editor at The Journal-Standard in Freeport, Ill.

Kilchermann said in story published on the Ionia newspaper's Web site Saturday that she is excited about becoming part of the community and looks forward to a "rewarding and challenging career" with the Sentinel-Standard.

Kilchermann replaces Amanda Cairo, who is leaving to become a communications writer for the University of Idaho in Moscow.
