By: E&P Staff Independent Publications Inc. (IPI) has acquired all the stock of Cabinet Press Inc. of Milford, N.H., from Frank and Martha Manley. Cribb & Associates brokered the deal. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Cabinet Press publishes the Milford Cabinet, a paid weekly newspaper with a circulation of 7,000 established in 1802. The company also publishes three free direct-mail weekly newspapers in Southern New Hampshire: Merrimack Journal, Bedford Journal, and Hollis/Brookline Journal.

David Solomon, editor the Telegraph, was named publisher of Cabinet Press.
