IREX to Offer Access to 1,100 Newspapers and Periodicals

By: E&P Staff The IREX digital reader plans to offer consumers access to more than 1,100 magazines and newspapers such as The Austin American-Statesman, The Washington Post, and The New York Times through partnerships with NewspaperDirect and LibreDigital.

The IREX DR800SG is an 8.1-inch e-reader with touchscreen capabilities and 3G wireless connectivity via Verizon and Qualcomm. IREX supports multiple formats including the ePub.

IREX users will also have access to Barnes & Noble?s eBookstore.
