Wall Street Journal Senior Editor Rich Jaroslovsky is leaving the paper to join Ziff Brothers Investments of New York.
Jaroslovsky, who helped start the
Journal's online edition and founded the Online News Association, will be setting up a new research-related unit at the firm, the investment group run by the heirs of the Ziff-Davis publishing fortune.
The new job will give Jaroslovsky "the opportunity to
create something new, assemble and lead a team -- a lot of the same stuff I enjoyed doing so much at WSJ.com," he said.
Last month, Jaroslovsky was presented with
Editor & Publisher's EPpy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement, in recognition of his work at the
Journal and ONA.
