By: E&P Staff Jeff Coolman has been renamed Minnesota group publisher of Sun Newspapers, effective Oct. 12. In his position, he will oversee Sun Newspapers' 42 weekly Minnesota publications.
Coolman joined Sun Newspapers in 2001 and served as director of sales and marketing until 2005, when he was appointed group publisher of Minnesota and vice president of sales for all American Community Newspapers publications. He retired in December of 2007 for a short time, after which he founded the Coolman Agency.
?I am excited at the opportunity to once again lead one of the best news and advertising teams in the Twin Cities,? Coolman said in a memo to the Minnesota staff of the American Community Newspapers.
For his first 30 days back on the job, Coolman will work alongside interim group publisher Roger Will, who will then return to his position as new media internet director.
