Jerome Ferson has been named president and publisher of the Aberdeen (S.D.) American News. Ferson, 32, most recently served as vice president/administration for the Duluth (Minn.) News Tribune.
Ferson came to the News Tribune in 2000 as an operations and human resources director. He moved to interim advertising director and then to human resources director before he was appointed vice president/administration.
Ferson began his newspaper career at the Post-Bulletin in Rochester, Minn., where he worked in distribution and production.
