Jerry Pittman Named Publisher of 'The Express-Star' in Okla.

Jerry Pittman has been named publisher of The Express-Star, a daily CNHI newspaper in Chickasha, Okla. Pittman had been publisher of the Altus (Okla.) Times since 2000, after serving as editor of the Enid (Okla.) News & Eagle for eight years.

Pittman previously worked at newspapers in Louisiana and Arkansas. He also will oversee operations of the weekly Tuttle (Okla.) Times.
