Since her high-profile firing in May as executive editor of The New York Times, Jill Abramson has been busy teaching a journalism class at Harvard, participating in speaking engagements and lining up a new longform venture that's said to be in talks for a deal with The Huffington Post.
She's also been doing some longform journalism of her own—a big reporting project that lands this week in the pages of several community newspapers that cover various areas of Manhattan.
