'Joe Sixpack' Touts Two Beer Columns

By: E&P Staff Joe Sixpack, a.k.a. former Philadelphia Daily News reporter Don Russell, is touting two new columns for editors looking to serve up some suds in their food sections.

The intrepid beer reporter is offering ?Joe Sixpack's Beer of the Week,? a 75-word illustrated piece describing a different brew each week, with tasting notes, style details, pairing suggestions and other background info, and a ?Joe Sixpack? 600-word weekly column focusing on beer-drnking, beer styles and other trends.

Each column is customized for that publication?s market, Russell says, to ensure that the featured beers can be found in local stores by readers.
