By: E&P Staff Tom Donovan has been promoted to executive vice president of The Journal News in White Plains, N.Y., from vice president of advertising.
Donovan, who joined the Gannett Company in 1987, has held a variety of advertising management positions in markets including Wilmington, Del., Rockford, Ill., and Indianapolis, Ind.
In his new capacity, Donovan will oversee the day-to-day operation of the company's advertising, circulation sales and distribution.
