Posted
By: Meg Campbell Journal Sentinel Inc. of Milwaukee, Wis., has signed a three-year agreement to print La Raza, Chicago's largest Hispanic newspaper.

Until last week, the Spanish-language weekly had been printed at the Fox Valley Publications plant in Plainfield, Ill., a subsidiary of the Chicago Sun-Times.

La Raza?s 200,000 copies are printed on the Journal Sentinel?s KBA Commander presses on Thursday afternoons and then taken to Chicago on Friday mornings for weekend delivery, explained Phil Gallion, commercial print sales manager for Milwaukee journal sentinel.

The newspaper, which averages 88 pages a week, has the option of including color on every page, says Gallion. The Journal Sentinel also handles zip code specific inserting for La Raza.

La Raza is owned by New York-based ImpreMedia.
