Veteran NBC broadcaster Tom Brokaw became the latest high-profile network news personality to publicly call on Twitter to take action over a series of tweets by President Trump falsely linking NBC’s Joe Scarborough with the death of a young woman in Florida several years ago. Brokaw called the tweets “maliciously false attacks” that are “beyond outrageous” and he called on Twitter and CEO Jack Dorsey to “step up.”
