Jury Seated in Trial of Ex-Newspaper Carrier Accused of Killings

Posted
By: Testimony is to begin today in the murder trial of a former Tulsa World newspaper carrier who's accused of killing two elderly women who lived on his route.

Paul Williford is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of 75-year-old Geraldine Lawhorn and 73-year-old Donna Jo Stauffer.

Williford is currently serving life in prison for attacking another woman who lived on his route.

Police say Williford described killing Lawhorn and Stauffer when detectives interviewed him after finding out he wanted to talk about two unsolved murders.

Williford testified during a hearing Monday that he "made it up" when he told police how he choked the two women.
