With workflow features for multiple output channels, content management for multimedia, and automation of exports for digital publishing, K4 version 6 complements Adobe CS5 with a platform for teams to collaborate. The multi-channel approach enables work according to the requirements of a given channel while having videos, photos, stories and layouts centrally managed within K4, according to CEO Andreas Schrader.
A full-version upgrade to all its component tools, CS5 for the first time integrates with online-content and digital-marketing measurement and optimization, Access to Omniture technologies enables the capture, storage and analysis of information from Web sites and other sources. The new Adobe Flash Catalyst allows users to design interactive content without writing code, improving collaboration between designer and developer. With CS5, users also can now create content and applications for the Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe AIR 2 - optimized for mobile screens and designed to exploit native device capabilities.
