Kah To Marry Boom; Won't Hyphenate

A recent engagement announcement in The Flint Journal had the following headline: "Kah-Boom."

Laura Kah says she won't hyphenate her new name after she marries Scott Boom this December, for the obvious reasons.

She says her mother's even having fun with the names, suggesting the couple name their first child Thunder.

Kah's last name is pronounced "Kay." But it's often mispronounced. She says she's looking forward to becoming Laura Boom.
