By: E&P Staff Dauphin Graphic Machines Inc., a Pamarco Technologies company in Elizabethville, Pa., will install in June 16 units of the DGM 850 press, a DGM 1030 folder and a DGM 1050 folder at the 18,645-circulation (24,933 Sunday) Killeen (Texas) Daily Herald, where it will replace a Goss Urbanite.
Now going into Linco Printing Inc., Long Island City, N.Y., is a DGM 430 press line consisting of eight print units and one DGM 1035 folder. It is the commercial and newspaper printer's fourth Dauphin purchase, for a total of 21 press units since 1997. Installation is to be completed next month.
A DGM four-high was added last month to the press at Wappinger Falls (N.Y.) Shoppers, a commercial and newspaper printer that publishes two weeklies, The Southern Dutchess News and the Beacon Free Press, plus The Hudson Valley Business Journal, a biweekly.
