KnightRidder.com announced this week a variety of new real estate
services on the Real Cities network. The company is promising an
emphasis on local and full service, with users being able to find a
local real estate agent, a moving company, local domestic help, home
garden services, and home improvement contractors and architects.
Some of the new services are provided by HomeGain, a site for home
sellers based in Emeryville, Calif., while others are offered by
ImproveNet, a site for home improvement needs based in Redwood City,
Calif. ImproveNet services are available throughout the Real Cities
network while HomeGain's services are currently available on eight
sites, including BayArea.com (San Francisco/Silicon Valley), DFW.com
(Dallas/Ft. Worth), KansasCity.com, Miami.com, Philly.com,
RealCities.com, StLouisMetro.com, and TwinCities.com.
Real Cities' real estate channel also offers Classified Ventures'
HomeHunter and NewHomeNetwork.com.
