Harry Moskos will retire as vice president and editor of The
Knoxville (Tenn.) News-Sentinel on Oct. 31, according
to an announcement from the E.W. Scripps Co., Cincinnati.

Moskos is nearing age 65, the mandatory retirement age for senior
executives at Scripps newspapers.

Moskos has been with the News-Sentinel for 17 years. He
previously served as editor of the El Paso (Texas)
Herald-Post and the Grants, N.M., Daily Beacon. His
newspaper career began in 1953 at The Albuquerque Tribune.
