By: E&P Staff Kodak will demonstrate its new Colorflow software during the large quadrennial printing trade show Drupa, May 29-June 11. The solution is designed to integrate color control throughout the production environment.
With Colorflow, publishers will obtain reliable color matches from the original electronic file on through to production and output, across such devices as monitors, scanners, proof printers and presses. The software will reduce both the number of press runs needed to set up color and training needs, thereby cutting costs, according to Kodak.
Colorflow software will be available both as a stand-alone application, and as an integrated solution within Kodak's Prinergy workflow system, version 5.0, which it also will introduce at Drupa.
