Kodak's GCG Kicks in to Rebuild in New Orleans

By: E&P Staff A contribution of $85,000 from Kodak to New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity will provide full funding to build a house in an area devastated by Hurricane Katrina. The sponsorship from the United States and Canada Region of Kodak's Graphic Communications Group was announced at its annual sales kickoff event, which took place in New Orleans.

Once New Orleans was selected as the site for the event, it was decided to make the donation in lieu of allocating resources to major social activities.

Since Hurricane Katrina, NOAHH and its partners have completed 100 new houses and 150 more are under way. Construction of the Kodak-sponsored house begins later this year. Kodak employees and customers will be invited as volunteers to build the new home.
