Krause Installs its First Waterless Platesetter

By: E&P Staff Krause-Biagosch, Bielefeld, Germany, has installed its first waterless CTP platesetter, the XJet, at the Druckzentrum Nordsee, Bremerhaven, Germany.

Druckzentrum Nordsee started with new printing technology in a new printing plant in the hope of acquiring more customers for newspaper and commercial products. It selected the compact, waterless KBA Cortina press.

Druckzentrum Nordsee operates two complete XJet production lines, integrated into the press control system. In addition to the platesetters, Krause supplied a complete workflow, processors and punch-benders.
