The Los Angeles Times announced that it will re-launch its TV Times guide on Sunday, June 13, via newsstands and retail outlets throughout Southern California.

Readers told the Times they wanted a weekly guide with round-the-clock programming, according to Times Audience and Membership Vice President Frank Horvath.

As a tiered roll out, with an opportunity for subscribers to opt-in now for home delivery beginning Sept. 5, the TV Times joins the paper as a 44-page tabloid section.

The Times' last television programming section, which ran to 28 pages, was published through April 2007. The new one has a 24-hour daily grid, as well as four pages of alphabetized TV/cable/satellite movie listings, a full-page cover story, TV-related crossword puzzle, episode highlights and synopses, and a dedicated sports-programming page. Front- and back-cover ads are available.

Regular pricing for opt-in or a stand-alone TV Times subscription will be $2.99 per month, with a 15% discount for those ordering before home delivery begins.

The Times also offers printable TV listings printable from its Website and a daily primetime grid in its Calendar section.
