By: E&P Staff CCI Europe, Aarhus, Denmark, and Kennesaw, Ga., will install its AdDesk Sales system at the Los Angeles Times, replacing the paper's current advertising systems infrastructure. It is the largest installation of a CCI ad system in North America, and the latest expansion of the system in Tribune Co.'s 11 dailies.
AdDesk Sales provides a single view of the customer. Its "one order, one bill" feature helps streamline back-office procedures and improve customer service. AdDesk Sales e-commerce capabilities are expected to improve self-service for Times advertisers.
The system will consolidate various applications now used to manage ad orders. It "will improve revenue allocation and reporting and offer improved and/or streamlined workflows while allowing us to leverage best practices companywide," Times Advertising Technology Director Pervez Sikora said in a statement.
Times Advertising Systems Planning and Integration Director Steve Anderson said that "system standardization will help us accelerate time-to-market with new advertising products that meet customer needs across our markets and support our cross-sales efforts."
