By: Staff Reports 'City of Angles' To Be Aggressive, Amusing
The Los Angeles Times will launch a new column Sunday, "City of Angles"
by Ann O'Neill, who has written the newspaper's local celebrity lawsuit column
since 1997. Running on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday, the column will cover the
Los Angeles social scene and celebrity culture.
The column is the latest addition to the newspaper's "Southern California
Living" section, which now covers fashion, design, and culture in California and
beyond.
"In our column, we'll talk to the celebrities, rather than about them," O'Neill
said in a press release. "We won't just be on the red carpet asking starlets to
name their favorite lip liner. We'll also be digging through court files and
other public records."
O'Neill will be supported by reporters Gina Piccalo and Louise Roug.
