By: E&P Staff The Lake County (Ill.) News-Sun launched its third zoned edition Wednesday, expanding into the western Lake County communities, including Antioch, Wauconda and Lake Zurich.
"Lake County is a dynamic region home to a number of thriving communities, and the Lake County News-Sun sees enormous opportunities to serve those communities through expanded local news coverage and more targeted advertising services for businesses," News-Sun Publisher John Barron said. "We are very encouraged by the early positive feedback we have received from readers and advertisers, and we are enthusiastic for the future of this region."
"The Lake County News-Sun's newest zone will be geographically designed to help our advertisers to best target their desired customers," said Andrea Sonnenberg, director of advertising for the News-Sun, which is owned by Sun-Times Media LLC.
