Leveson Inquiry: Daily Mirror Editor Admits Affair Story May Have Come From Phone Hacking

The tabloid newspaper’s editor, Richard Wallace, admitted it was “possible” that interception of voicemail messages was the source for the award-winning story.


He further conceded that, when he was red top newspaper’s showbusiness editor, hacking “might well have been” undertaken on a wider scale by reporters under his watch.
