By: E&P Staff Mark Tatulli's May 2006-launched "Lio" has reached 150 clients, making it Universal Press Syndicate's strongest comic release since "The Boondocks" in 1999.
In fact, the "Lio" list is about 10% larger than "The Boondocks" list was after six months.
The pantomime comic (subject of a story in E&P's May 2006 magazine) runs in newspapers such as The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Chicago Sun-Times, The Dallas Morning News, Denver's Rocky Mountain News, the Detroit Free Press, The Hartford (Conn.) Courant, the Houston Chronicle, the Los Angeles Times, The Seattle Times, and The Washington Post.
Tatulli also does the "Heart of the City" strip for about 100 papers via Universal.
