Times-Review employees past and present gathered Thursday to impart well wishes and farewells to longtime Publisher Kay Helms who officially retired at year’s end.
“Only the building’s been here longer than Kay,” former Weatherford Democrat Publisher Jeff Smith joked at one point.
Which, as it turns out, is a slight exaggeration.
