By: E&P Staff The Los Angeles Newspaper Group has named Harold F. Woldt Jr. vice president, circulation. Woldt was most recently the vice president, circulation for the San Jose Mercury News and brings with him 35 years of experience in the newspaper industry, including circulation, sales, and advertising positions with the Chicago Tribune, the South Florida Sun Sentinel and The New York Times.
"We are pleased that a newspaper executive of Harry's experience and success is joining out company in this crucially important role," President and CEO John McKeon said in a statement. "Our company will benefit greatly from his insights, management skills, development of people, personal style, leadership and strategic thinking; all qualities and talents that have made his career lasting and impressive."
The Los Angeles Newspaper Group has eight daily newspapers (including the Daily News) and eight weekly publications that serve the greater Los Angeles area.
