Los Angeles Times Media Group Shuffles Sales Force

By: E&P Staff The Los Angeles Times Media Group is reorganizing its sales force to focus on increasing revenue, the company announced this morning.

Scott McKibben will become executive vice president, strategic partnerships, a newly created position. In his new role, he will oversee the Los Angeles Times Media Group's existing businesses and new revenue opportunities including pre-print optimization.

John O' Loughlin has been named executive vice president of advertising and will be responsible for all advertising sales and marketing across all properties.

Dawn Girocco will take over as senior vice president, Tribune Media Group, West. She will be responsible for expanding cross-media and cross-platform opportunities within the Western U.S. She reports to Don Meeks, president of Tribune365 National Solutions Group.

"These sales leadership changes will help us better execute our sales and marketing strategies and allow us to best leverage our many resources," Eddy Hartenstein, Los Angeles Times publisher, said in a statement.

McKibben, O'Loughlin, and Girocco will work closely with Bill Nagel, executive vice president of business services.
