'Macon (Ga.) Telegraph' Names Debbie Williams VP/Advertising

By: E&P Staff The Macon (Ga.) Telegraph has made newspaper veteran Debbie Williams its new vice president of advertising. Most recently, Williams was the publisher of The Union-Recorder in Milledgeville, Ga.

Williams has spent over 20 years in sales and advertising, beginning at a weekly TV guide before moving to The Valdosta (Ga.) Daily Times in 1986. Since then, Williams has held positions in advertising or sales at The St. Augustine (Fla.) Record, the Athens (Ga.) Banner-Herald, and The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle.

The Macon Telegraph is a McClatchy-owned publication.
