Madewell Named M.E. in Leesburg

By: E&P Staff Rick W. Madewell has been named managing editor of The Daily Commercial in Leesburg, Fla.

Madewell, 44, joined the newspaper as assistant news editor in October. He began his newspapering career at age 16 as a copy boy for The Anderson Herald in Anderson, Ind. He remained with the newspaper, now The Herald Bulletin, for 28 years, serving as a reporter, copy editor, design editor, news editor, and columnist.
