By: E&P Staff Man Roland CEO Vincent Lapinski has been named to the board of directors of the leading printing association NPES - the Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies.
NPES is an important partner for Graph Arts Show Company, which runs the commercial printing industry's biggest U.S. equipment shows Graph Expo and Print.
"Vince brings over two decades of experience in the Graphic Arts to our organization, and he represents one of our industry's leading manufacturers," NPES President Ralph J. Nappi said. "He will be a valuable asset to the decision-making process at NPES."
Lapinski said he is eager to serve on an association that unifies the elements of the printing industry.
"In this age of workflow integration, having a strong trade association that brings manufacturers and suppliers together is more important than ever," he said. "NPES provides a platform for discussion and interaction that makes our entire industry stronger, and I am honored to have been chosen to play a part in that effort."
He added: "In an increasingly competitive media market, printing facilities need to find ways to be more efficient and more effective. NPES works as a valuable resource in helping manufacturers like MAN Roland help our customers achieve those objectives."
