By: E&P Staff Manugraph DGM has sold DGM press equipment to Vanguardia Liberal, Bucaramanga, Colombia.
To ship in November, the order is the first for the 430 MAX. The press was introduced and this first sale made in spring at the Drupa show in D?sseldorf, Germany.
The 16-unit 430 MAX, arranged as four 4/4 towers with one DGM 1035 folder, will be manufactured at the Manugraph DGM facility in Elizabethville, Pennsylvania and shipped via container to Colombia.
The 430 MAX will be installed beside a Goss Urbanite line in the Bucaramanga headquarters. The 430 MAX will print new tabloid publications Qhubo and Lente Deportivo, along with three regional editions of Vanguardia Liberal.
Founded by the Galvis Ramirez family, Vanguardia Liberal is one of Colombia's oldest family-owned newspapers and continues to grow in circulation. Galvis Ramirez Co. has multiple publications and plants throughout the country and partners with traditional provincial newspapers in six state capitals.
