Many Columnists to Speak at Will Rogers Writers' Workshop

By: E&P Staff Speakers for the Will Rogers Writers' Workshop have been announced, and they include a number of syndicated and local columnists.

The conference takes place March 15-18, 2007, in Oklahoma City.

Columnist speakers will include humor writer W. Bruce Cameron (Creators Syndicate), opinion writer Ray Hanania (self-syndicated), "Savvy Senior" writer Jim Miller (self-syndicated), National Society of Newspaper Columnists immediate past president Suzette Martinez Standring (self-syndicated), Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop director Tim Bete (self-syndicated), and Rogers workshop director Robert Haught (The Oklahoman of Oklahoma City).

Among the other speakers will be "Faith" writer Bill Tammeus (The Kansas City Star), Jeff Zaslow (The Wall Street Journal), Dave Lieber (Fort Worth Star-Telegram), Smiley Anders (The Advocate of Baton Rouge), and Craig Wilson (USA Today).
