By: E&P Staff Mark Frisby will join The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News as executive vice president for production, labor, and purchasing. Frisby is currently the president and publisher of the Courier-Post in Camden, N.J.

He was a star at Gannett, a company highly respected for its cost management skills. He will be invaluable to our efforts to be as efficient as possible in order to save newsroom jobs and grow our business.?
Frisby has been with the Courier-Post since December 2001. During his time there he negotiated eight contracts with six unions at the paper. Prior to that, he was vice president/production for the Asbury Park Press in Neptune, N.J. published by Gannett. He was picked to lead a team of executives to travel across the country to larger Gannett sites to find and implement cost-savings.
