By: E&P Staff Software developer Marksware has donated a 64-seat license of its FlightCheck prepress application to Cal Poly's Graphic Communication Department.
FlightCheck Professional Version 6 is used to manage print-job quality control, providing checks for both native and PDF files, in order to prepare documents for commercial printing. Cal Poly will use the donated software to upgrade its electronic printing and publishing labs.
Based in Santa Ana, Calif., Marksware develops quality-assurance, data-conversion and workflow solutions for the graphic arts, printing, publishing and digital multimedia industries.
