McCLATCHY SITES TO PROVIDE STREAMING VIDEO

The McClatchy Co.'s newspaper Web sites will be getting streaming video, under a deal with Videoaxs, a video and audio news and entertainment provider based in Dallas.

Videoaxs will provide video clips via satellite to Nando Media, the interactive division of Sacramento, Calif.-based McClatchy, which publishes 11 daily and 12 non-daily newspapers, including the Minneapolis Star Tribune, The Sacramento Bee, and The News & Observer in Raleigh, N.C.

Based in Raleigh, Nando has been publishing online since 1994. The company also runs The Nando Times and The Sport Server, two national Web sites.
