Posted
By: Joe Strupp McClatchy-Tribune News Service is expanding its content for clients to include all stories from the newly consolidated Tribune Washington, D.C., bureau.

An advisory sent Thursday states the change will include coverage from the Tribune bureau that had not been previously available. In the past, only selected articles and columns were put into the news service pool.

"MCT is now moving all stories and coverage about the nation?s capital from Tribune Company?s Washington bureau," the advisory states, in part. "Tribune recently consolidated its Washington bureau operations under the direction of Kerry Luft, the former associate managing editor for the Chicago Tribune, who previously managed its foreign coverage. The Tribune Washington Bureau provides coverage to the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, The Baltimore Sun, The Hartford Courant, The Orlando Sentinel, the Sun Sentinel in South Florida and the Daily Press in Newport News, Va.

"As an MCT customer, you now have access to this expanded Washington and national coverage from the Tribune Washington Bureau at no additional cost."
