Media General, the TV station operator in Richmond, Va. that is a target of acquisition, is coming around to the idea of being part of a larger operation.
After issuing signs of hesitancy in recent weeks, Media General said Monday that it will begin negotiating with competitor Nexstar Broadcasting Group for a deal to be acquired if Nexstar is willing to raise its offering price.
