By: E&P Staff Managing Editor Inc., Jenkintown, Pa., reached agreement with British publishing solutions provider 5 Fifteen giving MEI exclusive North American rights to the ad Depot Web-based advertising booking system, which it will distribute under the AdsUp name.
MEI, an Adobe Systems portfolio company, will distribute, install, train and support AdsUp users in North and South America.
AdsUp is designed to increase communication throughout the ad booking and production process while reducing the cost of ad order entry and improving efficiency. The SOA-built system adheres to emerging standards for advertising interchange. The latest technologies are used from industry suppliers such as Microsoft and Adobe, including Microsoft BizTalk Server and Microsoft Dynamics CRM to manage all workflow integration.
"With AdsUp and our flagship ad layout solutions, we offer publishers fully automated control of their entire advertising workflows," MEI President and CEO Dennis McGuire said in a statement.
MEI will manage implementation and support of AdsUp through its expanding North and South American network of system integrators. In Europe, MEI is represented by a network of national distributors who will sell AdsUp on a non-exclusive basis.
