Meissner Succeeds Brown as Goss CEO

By: E&P Staff The board of directors of printing and finishing equipment manufacturer Goss International, Bolingbrook, Ill., has appointed Jochen Meissner as the company's CEO, succeeding Bob Brown, who remains a director and "will focus on strategic market issues and customer initiatives," according to the company.

Meissner, who served as executive vice president and chief operating officer since joining Goss International in 2002, has held management and executive positions with manroland, Heidelberg and Goss International.

"Jochen has been instrumental in the strengthening of our global organization and our innovative product portfolio over the past six years," Goss Chairman Ed Padilla said in announcing the appointment.
