Met Seeks Court Order for Phone Hacking Sources

The Metropolitan Police will next week apply for a court order under the Official Secrets Act in a bid to reveal the sources of the Guardian's phone hacking coverage, according to the newspaper.

The Guardian has reported that officers are trying to secure documents relating to sources for a number of articles, claiming the Act may have been breached in its coverage of stories such as the alleged hacking of Milly Dowler's phone.
