By: Staff reports Colorado Chain Sells For Undisclosed Amount
The MetroNorth Newspapers in Colorado have been sold to a former editor, the Denver
Rocky Mountain News reports.
Wilbur Flachman, owner of the four-paper chain, said Scott Perriman is the buyer. The
purchase price was not disclosed.
Perriman was a sports and community editor for the chain in the early 90s. He served as
president and CEO of the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce until this week when he resigned
to run the newspapers.
The chain includes the Northglenn-Thornton Sentinel, Westminster Window, Action/MetroNorth,
and WestSider.
