Posted
By: E&P Staff The MetroWest Daily News of Framingham, Mass., will switch from afternoon to morning delivery in March, the daily announced.

"We believe this change will give our readers a more local, timely and complete news package," Editor-in-Chief Richard Lodge said in a statement Monday. "With this change our news staff can focus on concise but complete local news reporting every day, in three distinct editions, each serving a segment of the MetroWest community."

The newspaper will also come out in three editions that serve a segment -- all in Massachusetts -- of the MetroWest community. Starting on March 8, the Central Edition, which covers Framingham, Natick, Sudbury and Wayland, will switch over to morning delivery.

Then on March 22, the West Edition, which covers Marlborough, Hudson, Southborough, Northborough, and Westborough, will make the change. The South Edition, which covers Ashland, Holliston and Hopkinton, will switch on March 29.

MetroWest Daily News is part of the Community Newspaper Co., which publishes 89 weekly newspapers, four dailes, 14 shoppers and a variety of targeted specialty products throughout eastern Massachusetts.
