Michael Gardner Joins Athlon Sports

Athlon Sports Communication, Inc. ("Athlon"), the Nashville, TN-based integrated sports media company, announced today the addition of Michael Gardner to its Athlon Media team as the Director of Newspaper Circulation.

As Director of Newspaper Circulation, Gardner will be instrumental in bringing on new newspaper partners to carry Athlon Sports, the company's newspaper distributed monthly magazine. Gardner joins Athlon Media from Publishing Group of America, publishers of American Profile, Relish and Spry, after ten years of leading their circulation sales efforts.

Athlon Sports represents a new stage in Athlon's development as America's premier sports publisher. Founded in 1967, Athlon is the leading publisher of sports annuals in the United States.
